That was fast. Three years ago, Pebble took Kickstarter by storm with its first customizable watch. The project broke every conceivable crowdfunding record, and until last summer, it was the most funded project in Kickstarter’s short history. Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky started the company in his college dorm room in the Netherlands, eventually becoming a fledgling startup selling BlackBerry smartwatches. Migicovsky and his team had a new idea for growth – the original Pebble smartwatch that Pebble’s first color smartwatch is taking a page from Google Now, with a “Timeline” view that tells users what’s coming up next.
